A Heavy Quiet are an alternative, hard rock, metal band that weave many genres together to make music with deep emotional impact. Songs are conceived and written by real people, from actual life experiences. We’ve cried human tears, experienced gut-wrenching failure, felt deep emotional heartbreak, grieved the loss of a loved one, self-medicated to kill the pain, and worked multiple jobs to make ends meet.
Downsider: Our new song Downsider will appeal to fans of Tool, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains and Ghost. The song is about the addiction and negative effects of technology like social media, phones, AI and algorithms.
Tech has created a loneliness epidemic, increased narcissism, caused job losses, and taken away our reasons for living.
